Divorce in TN.Please read.?

Is there any one out there in TN who has gone though a divorce without an lawyer? We have two kids but we are in complete agreement on everything. Could someone explain how this works and is it legal? Thanks!

Women get screwed in these types of divorces, and so do the kids. Hire a lawyer to make sure that he pays the proper amount of child support. My husband lied about the value of his business. They will not be honest about things. Also, what happens if he stops doing what he says he would do? Or he pays late, or stops paying? A lawyer can put it all in writing in a way they are trained to do. They have heard it all before, done it all before, and its their specialty. Its not yours. Anyway, if you represent yourself, you have a fool for a client.

Not a good idea. If you agree on everything just get one lawyer and have them file for you. I've gone that route and been pleased. However not having an attorney at all can really cause problems. You get what you pay for.
