Do I screw things up ?

I knew this girl for years before we currently started dating. We became good friends, with obvious attractions between us but never acted on them until I was leaving for a trip to Australia. While I was gone we emailed each other for a period of 6 months becoming extremely close to the point that we started dating the second I got back home. Thing is, through Facebook she found out that while I was in Australia emailing her every week I was in a relationship with a person I met out there, and she was 30 (I'm 19). My current gf has problems with this, saying that I mislead her, and that she cannot compete with a 30 year old on vacation (my gf is 20). My Aussie girl meant nothing to me, how can I get my gf to see that?

Hi, if your current girlfriend had meant that much to you, then why did you embark on another relationship. The problem you have is that you betrayed her trust in you. So now it is down to whether your current girlfriend has a forgiving nature, unfortunately for you, some women, will never put their trust again in someone that has betrayed them. So if you can't rekindle your relationship, you have to move on and learn by your mistakes, never two time someone that means anything to you. I wish you all the luck for the future. Take care.

Your gf in insecure, and has serious issues. You are allowed to have friends! There's nothing wrong with that.
I think that just proves you're better off without your gf. Forget her, you can do better.

Wow you reallly messed up with dating someone else while you were gone you should have kept things 100 with her all the way through. With long distance relationships the best thing you can do for the other person is be honest even if it hurts its better to tell things when they first happen then to let them find out any other kind of way. But let her know that you love her and that you made a mistake your young just like myself and at this age we all make mistakes tell her you are blessed to have her and the intimate feeling and true friendship you have with her can never be replaced by any women not even a thirty year old you met on vacation because she will never know and understand and know the true colors of you like your gf does. She was a mistake that you learned from. With out error thier is no trail. Mistakes are supposed to be made in order to learn and grow
