At times i feel that i could be missing out on different thing now that im married. Don't get me wrong love my hubby but i feel like im missing out on so much at times! what do you feel? Does anyone feel like this?

I did when I was married because my husband just stopped. He stopped everything, wouldn't take me out. Wouldn't do any of the fun stuff we did while we dated, stopped being spontaneous, all kinds of fun stuff just stopped.
Get out with your hubby and try doing different things. That way you will be with the man you love experiencing new things. I doubt you will feel like your missing out on anything then. The only time I felt like I was missing out was when he just quit being the man I fell for altogether. |

Lots of single people think they are missing out on having that one special someone to come home to, having the reliability and safety of a single partner. And getting out of the bizarre dating scene!
So you get married. Now you think you are missing out on someone else, dating lots of different guys, being able to do what you want without taking another person's feelings or plans into consideration. *SIGH* The grass always seems greener, doesn't it? |

Yes and it is a normal feeling. There are some things we can do when we are still single. You have all your time for yourself. Less responsibility, more time for yourself and friends. But when one gets married, you have your spouse and kids to take care of; more sacrifices are made for your family's sake - time & money. That is why one has to really think very well before getting into marriage. You can't help but compare your life now with the kind of life your parents gave you. But you know what, don't let this feeling hold you back. Instead, take this is an opportunity for you to grow. With all the sacrifices you make, you will love your spouse and kids even more. And hopefully, they will love you back even more. But always keep in mind to leave enough also for yourself. Be happy. |
