Do guys naturally desire and/or attracted to women who have character/dignity than submissive passive ones?

If you were a guy, would you prefer the submissive passive one who treats you very nicely but communication wise- a bit dull, routine/dull, not much spark, and you have met since high school, than one who has lots of character, emotionally strong, have pride/dignity but also treats you very nicely and communication wise, full of topics and interests, but only met for 2 years?

If I were a guy I would definitly prefer a women with character that is emotionally strong. When I first met my husband I was more submissive and always wanted to please him and didnt really ever speak my mind or disagree with him. But as I matured I relized I couldnt be happy like that and he wasnt either. He didnt really know me or my true feelings. We are much closer now that I always say what I feel and know that I deserve as much respect as he does. Things change when you have kids to. We just had a daughter and he says he see everything different now and wants to treat me how he would have his daughter treated. I think the best marriages or realashionships have a base in friendship and its easier to be friends with someone that you consider a complete equal with.

Just because a girl is submissive and passive doesn't mean she has no dignity. I am passive but very proud. Guys get tired of talking. i only talk when someone wants to listen. My husband and I have no spark in conversation unless we're fighting. We save the spark for the bedroom.
You're obviously trying to twist things in your favor. It's just a matter of the guys taste. Good luck with what your looking for unless your going after a married man with a passive wife then find you a man who wants a firy woman like you.

OK, I may not be the smartest person in the world but I've read this question 2 times and still can't seem to find the marriage and divorce part of this question.

You never know a woman's heart until she's opened it for you. Just because someone is passive does not mean they have no dignity. I had a best friend like this, very passive and quiet with people she barely knew, but once you got to know her you realized she has pride the size of a mountain.

I can not speak for other guys but I look for an equal partnership in a relationship. I don't want a daughter and I don't want a mother just a bright lady who has the courage to stand up for herself. You would be surprised at just how many women are the submissive type.
