My partner is smart enough to know that he is responsible for his own happiness... as I am responsible for mine. Neither of us look at our happiness as being the responsibility of the other person. We simply add to each others happy lives.

Yes, I give myself credit. But I also give my man credit for the work he does to make our relationship special. He is an awesomely, loving man and is extremely romantic and he tells me he wants me to do the things that make me happy. Because if I am happy.....he is happy. And I am the same way with him. He is my best friend and we share all the emotional aspects of our lives. He is my soulmate.
