They do, my love, but sometimes it takes a long time. This is the kind of person who will tell so many lies that they will forget what they have told others and get caught out. This girl in question, needs to get away from this person and his friends and find herself some new friends. Sounds like she has a good one in you as you care enough to ask for advice for her on this site. Just help her to find the confidence to meet new people and possibly move to a new place. My friend did this - she was engaged to a guy who made her life a misery wouldnt work but made her work right to the end of her pregnancy (her waters went at work) then spent allher money and told lies to his and her friends. Many of whom dont speak to her anymore. So she stopped the wedding 2 weeks before, moved to a new town, met her now husband and moved 600 miles away where she has the best life. Your friend just needs the support from you and confidence.

Karma has a way of bending people over and delivering a fist-full of justice. Sometimes it takes a while.

However, sounds like your friend isn't exactly too smart. Anyone who allows themselves to be treated a way, deserves to be treated that way. I made up my mind to help people out once. If they can't see what they need to do, or do what they need to do, then they are on their own. my time is valuable, and helping people who refuse to help themselves is a good way to waste it. There's counselors, cops, and community groups. If your friend can't (usually means won't) find the help she needs, and allows herself to be treated like crap, then ultimately she has no one to blame but herself. I suggest you road trip with her for a few days to get her head straightened out without the "other guy" around to influence her thought process. Come up with a good escape plan. do what you need to do. but do it once. people who find a shoulder to cry on all to often turn it into a crutch to lean on. that gets real old, real quick.

Oh they will get their's in THIS life! I promise you. this man you speak of...he may die a mental death soon. n deserves it. I would stick up for this girl. why dont you help her? Look at me...for 4 yrs before I married my hubby, he made me keep our relationship a secret from my best friend...who was his casual acquaintance. I did. I would go report back to him. details abt my best friend. When my best friend smelt something stinks, she asked if I'm sleeping with him. I lied and said "I swear by my 1 yr old nephew's life I'm not." Then two days later told her "he lvoes me. stay away. She cut us both off coz of out lies. Since then, hubby has stalked this girl (the ex-friend I lied to for hsi sake), sent her death threats, spread nasty lies abt her...pretty much exactly as you described. BUHlieve me...they get it WORSE than the victims.

I had a man that beat me for years and tried more than once to kill me. In the end God took care of it. I know that this sounds cold and uncaring, However I loved him very much but i don't have to worry about looking over my shoulder every where i go or worry about the safety of my child. So yes always try to be good to those around you. Everything you do good or bad comes back three fold. In my experience. As for your friend, all she can do is leave the situation. she is the only one who can put a stop to it. If she is afraid of him: there are places and people that will help her and remove her from this situation. But in the end she has to do it for herself and she has to believe that she deserves better and that she is worth so much more than what she is being told. That her life means so much to others and that she is somebody. I'll pray for her and keep her and all women that are victims. God speed.
