Well, the consummation thing, would be a problem in some religions, but, some are involving a lot of alcohol and maybe both parties
are not quite up to the act....however, from my own experience,
all will be resolved in the morning !! ahh bless (remember the asprin ) |

It is legal with or without consummation but without, you don't have to go through a divorce just apply for an annulment. I didn't get my marriage consummated until about a week after because of everything that went on at the time we were so exhausted neither had any energy left. But to answer the question yes everything is official just a little cheaper to separate if it comes to that. |

No, it is legal when you have signed the documents and you have been pronounced man and wife. It is not as if you can still walk away with the consumated excuse like in the dark middle ages. You are from that pit onward bound by matrimonial contract
Offical until you consumate is BS what if you marry a jailbird, or somebody that has been in an accident and is just not functioning below the waist? |

I use to think that you had to Consummate before it was legal. But now I dont feel that way if you have papers it is legal |

No, marriage becomes legal when you sign your marriage license. Consummating a marriage is a gift from God that He gives us as a pleasure between a husband and wife. Sometimes there are reasons why one or the other doesn't want to, but if both parties are in total agreement then, go for it! I would absolutely!!!!!! |

It is still official, but in Oklahoma, not consummating the vows is a reason for disolving the marriage. |
