If a man "disciplines" a woman, he does deserve to be divorced in a heartbeat; same if a woman were to do that to a man. I think the divorce rate would spike, for very good reasons. |

Not every man "way back when" hit his wife, not every woman "obeyed" her husband. And who says the man is always the disciplinarian? I knew plenty of friends MOMS that were disciplinarians when I was small and they had husbands. Most men just want to be the good guy when they come home from work!!
The only reason divorce rates are up is because both mens and womens "values" have taken a nosedive over time. Its not because women work.
