In my home I'm the one to talk like your husband, but I use a different word. And yes it bothers my spouse.

Some people just swear more than others. They say it so much 'til it becomes a constant in their vocab. He probably just takes it lightly, anyways. No harm meant.

I do this to my wife and she gives me a hard time about using the F word. I do try and cut it back and hopefully eventually out of my vocabulary. Often it has to do with how friends talk, maybe he was involved in sports, often this is where it all starts. The dressing room is an open source for profanity and will stick with a guy for the rest of his life.

I suggest you simply say at an appropriate time like just before you get it on. "Sweetie (or whatever pet name you have) would you mind not using the F word, I'm not a big fan and I would really love it if you cut back on using it." Then induce foreplay. Often men just need it to come from the heart instead of from the "naggy wife scenario".

I think its habit for him to do it but you still need to talk to him about it b/c it will never get better if you don't say anything.

I think its just how he is..the words just come out with out him even thinking because about it cuz he cusses all the time.. I understand how you feel and realize that there are times when you really don't want him to use that language..but I think he probably has always done this , since you have known him..so its not something he can easily change. Maybe you can bring it up and see if he can try to tone it down..hopefully he will respect you enough to try..Good luck !

It sounds like your husband has a bad habit, saying the F word just comes out. Maybe he should work on thinking about what he says before opens his mouth.

About the rudeness when you are on the phone. He is jealous.....think about it. You were talking to a female, I bet he is jealous of anyone taking your time from HIM.

Been there done that, I could not deal with a man that would not let me talk to my friends, make rude comments when they visited, making them not to ever want to visit in my home again.

Hopefully, with counsling, he can improve. Sounds like he has a deeper problem than you can see.

It's been said that people who cuss a lot tend to have a limited vocabulary. Maybe that's the case. Or, maybe he's trying to be controlling or intimidate you somehow. Either way, I'd tell him to knock it the f*ck off! Sometimes it takes a taste of their own medicine for them to see how it really is.
