who was married before, and when you see the ex, makes you wanna scream WTF! And you wonder what your spouse was thinking when married that person, and why? Does it make you wonder whether you really know your spouse? Do some people change that much, or were they just very desperate back then?

Do you know the ex or have you just seen her? Most people get married without thinking what they are doing... but if that person is really that horrible and your spouse divorced her, doesn't that tell you something positive about him? Also, think of yourself: if he married you, what does this tell you about him?
If you want to have a happy marriage, you have to make your peace with his past, whatever it was. |

Yes I have been married for 5 years and I am the complete opposite to my husband's ex girlfriend. She's short, fat older than him and blonde, I'm tall. slim, brunette and younger than him.

Neither of us were married before.
I wouldn't get mad at my husband for being with some one before me. I imagine they fell in love just like you two did but the love faded. People do change.
Be mature about it. Its over now. They are not together. It is harder if they have children together. But if they don't there is no reason to be around that person. |
