they go on and on with details

The Only One
In order for people to fully understand our situation, which can sometimes be very emotionally intense, they'd have to be able see what we are feeling and take it from there.

If people comes on here seeking advices or suggestions on what to do, they'd have to open up there heart and not hide anything that they are overly concerned about. Now, some may be to overly explicit when they reveal to others of their situations, and sometimes that isn't all that necessary. In order for others to seriously give us the answers that we may be content with, we'd have to share to them exactly what we are going through both emotionally and mentally. When people come on here looking for answers, they really are looking for solutions to their current issues, and thus will go as far as being completely open.

That explains how serious and desperate they are in wanting other people's opinions and suggestions. It may only be a temporarily solution, but it does however makes it a bit more gratifying to know that there are actually others who had gone through similar situations. Just being able to relate in itself is a good feeling and sometimes that is enough to validate the askers current emotional status.

That explains why questions posted on here which are accompanied by somewhat "long" explanations are sometimes necessary in order for others to fully grasps and understand the asker's issues.

Also keep in mind that when explanations are kept too long (like a novel) it may not receive an adequate amount of responses because users on here have enough books (homework) to read as it is and are not here to do additional reading assignments.

It's probably because a person in this section is upset at the moment they ask their question and have a tendency to ramble out of emotion. Plus, it takes more explanation of the dynamics of their situation to obtain thought filled and genuinely caring answers.
