When TWO, people are in love, committed,
responsible, honest, willing, communicative.
supportive and all is coming from the heart and
they are married, then 50yrs is a short time to be
married to one another as marriage is a life time
thing. I know as my parents were married 56yrs an
I have been over 20 and I and my wife will strive to
pass their goal as happiness will help us to do
that. |

We won't know for another 43 years will we?
Has to work that way because there have been a lot of people who had their 50th wedding anniversary each year 2000 -- 2007! |

Of course. But you have to be willing to work at it. I've been with my husband for 11 years, and we got married really young (19). No one thought we would make it, but here we are 11 years later, with 2 boys and still happy. I definetley think we will make it that long. |
|

?
|
I think it is still possible. It isn't happening as much anymore but I would like to think it still does. I would like to think I will be with my husband the rest of my life. |

Yes. My grandparents were married 48 yrs and some of my aunt and uncles were married 50 years. My parents have been married 36+yrs. I think it is still possible today if both parties are committed to their marriage vows. |

It is entirely possible to have 50 year old marriages in the 21st century. I think that it is like any marriage both parties have to work towards the marriage. |

Why not?
I see in the newspaper everyday people celebrating 50 60 65 year anniversaries.
I think it is not impossible that people married since the turn of the century will stay married that long |
