Sure it is. Then again, that just gives you reason to be glad she's initiating a divorce. It's not the end of the world, it's just ignorant. Don't fixate on it because in the end that's what she wants.
good luck. |

I know it never seems like this early on, but the winner is usually the divorced husband and the big loser is almost always the new boyfriend. |

I don't think this is even legal. I believe the papers have to be served by an official from the courts like a deputy sheriff. You need to ask your lawyer or contact the courts and find out. |

No accually it she is the one supposed to do it and it is illegal to have her new boyfriend to serve them i would go to court and complain it isn't right. |

Yes, inappropriate. HOWEVER after my husband of 30 years decided to spend all of his time with another woman, an acquaintance offered to pose as someone who wanted to marry me and serve him with the divorce papers. I was tempted, but no... tit for tat won't make me feel any better. |

If she fears or hates you or if she is too poor to pay for serving the papers, no. Otherwise, it is tasteless. |

Sweet Suzy 777!
It is inappropriate for her to divorce you if you haven't been unfaithful to her. She is breaking her wedding vows.
She can have anyone serve you, she just can't do it. |

Ade
You musta done something really special to her. |

jahshoowuh
Yes. Don't let it get to you though. The reason she did it is to make you jealous. The question is, why does she feel the need to make you jealous? |

anoldmick
Yes, but aren't you glad you two are getting a divorce? If she's rotten enough to rub it in your face this way, why would you want to remain attached to her? Send her a thank-you note; that'll REALLY get her goat! |

choteau
Tacky, yes inappropriate no. If it worked then it is not inappropriate. It did not work when my ex tried it though. |

Deb W
Oh, man - that is as bad as my daughter's ex asking her to help him pick out a suit for his wedding to his new girl - which he did, the S.O.B! |

The"G"man
"Yes" very inappropriate.
he is not the one getting the divorce and should be made anonymous in the matter.
now he can be supportive, which is something he should be, but not a participant in the matter. |
