Do you think its ok for a married man to dance with other women when his wife is not around?

I am a happily married 40 year old father of 3. I am also a devout Christian with NO interest in being unfaithul to my wife. However, my wife is a nurse who recently began working the weekend night shift. A few single friends of mine (in my age group) routinely go out to clubs on the weekend and have invited me to join them since my wife will be working and my mother lives with us, so she can supervise the kids. So would it be immoral for me to just dance with other women when I go out as long as it goes no further?

No I don't think so, as long as your wife doesn't feel left out.
I think I'd be upset if I was working every weekend knowing that my husband was out clubbing it!

I am a happily married Christian woman....mother of 5....and no way would I ever do that to my husband. Even if you never plan for it to go further than a dance, it still isn't right. I sure wouldn't want my husband out dancing with other girls while I was busy working. To me, it would be wrong and hurtful to your wife. Stay true to her and keep her a happy woman.

Since you asked and I am here, let me tell you...
No,it is not okay to go out dancing with other females.
Dancing is an intimate act between a male and female to arouse sensations that lead to further intimate acts.
If you are dedicated to your wife, make time to take her dancing either at home during the day or an evening she has off.
It always ends up going further sooner or later.

As you say it would go no further, how do you think it would make your wife feel if you did this? I have to ask you a question and don't expect you to answer, but just think about this...Did you and your wife go out together prior to her taking the night shift on the weekends? If not it may make her feel like you were waiting for her to take that shift just so you could go out. I know this because My ex-husband did this to me, but I actually found him cheating.

It would be fine if it was just play dancing but don't do anymore. Don't do dirty dancing or slow dancing. You should tell your wife what you are doing to make sure it's fine with her. Just keep them as friends, nothing more and it will be fine.

I wouldn't care but I think you should ask your wife how she feels about it. If she's okay with you going she probably knows you will be dancing anyhow.

I have to say yes. There's nothing wrong with you hanging out with the guys and even women from work, but there is a fine line, and it can easily be crossed, I say just stay away from it. Even if you don't plan on cheating, the female you dance with may think your into her.
