Do you think my husband will be pissed when he gets home and I haven't made dinner?
|
I just sat down not too long ago, and I feel like I need to answer questions for an hour or so before I can do anything else. I would have asked my 8 Ball, but it has been missing in action for the past two weeks. You think he will be pissed off? He can have leftovers if he is super hungry when he gets home. Additional Details Eerin-- You tell my husband that it is not my job to cook when he is the only one in the house with a job so I can stay home and answer questions all day on here. I'll email you his number and see how far you get.

I know a couple who got divorced over frozen dinners. Seriously. He came home on leave from Iraq, all he wanted was a good home cooked meal, and he said all his wife had for him was frozen dinners. Not one morsel of "real" food. Obviously this was indicative of bigger marital issues and her way of showing him that she just didn't give a crap about him anymore but it was still the straw that broke the camel's back in their marriage. All the same, I'd be on the safe side and make sure he gets his dinner. :) |

when he walks in, slide down the stairs handrail backwards.
when he asks you what you are doing, tell him, "warming up dinner."
guaranteed, no complaints. |

Why not alternate cooking with answering a few questions? Surely you can whip something up that doesn't require you stand over the stove constantly. Multitask, it's what we women are good at!! |

if you had a slapchop, you could make his dinner in no time |

There must be a place nearby with cheap beer and wings.
That almost always works.
Then you can come home and ply your BILF ways.
I assure you he will forget all about it. |

Who stole the 8 ball? If it was your hubby, then he deserves to go hungry! No cooking for 2 weeks! That man needs to learn his lesson. |

Depends on how you approach this dinner question. If you tell him, "Baby, it's been such a long day, I decided not to cook, I hope you don't mind" but I'll make up for it tomorrow and it will be great, I promise. This is one of the reasons why men get married, they want to be taken care of and it's up to us how we handle anything in our relationship. There will be times when he does not a dinner. He sees you put time into it and everything is perfect. Sometimes they maynot tell you how much the appreicate it until you don't cook. Hopefully he did not have a hard day himself and sees only love in your eyes. YOu know how we women are, do what we do best and make him see it thru our eyes. But you must make up for it by cooking a really good deal tomorrow and he will see that this isn't just a way out and he's be neglected. believe me, it works and eveyone is happy but if he does not want left overs, just say ok baby but give me some time in the meantime, let me make you comfortable....give him something to tie him over to bedtime if you know what I mean. We are women and we need to use what God gave us. You know our there is called, "the clean up woman" who is waiting to take you place and sometimes men allow her in his life and you won't know about it until it's too late....stay in control and love him because you married and promised to take care of him and he should do the same! |

Leftovers or order out - he'll get over it once he has a full tummy. |

Well he shouldn't get mad at you, its only dinner. But since you don't work at least heat up the left overs for him. |

uuuhm.. the wife should not be the one required to make dinner. if he's hungry, he can make his own damn food lol. it's ridiculous if he gets mad, have him cook for once! |
