if a person was cheating and really valued their spouse they would do everything they could to avoid her finding out. maybe the other woman is leaving the evidence so the wife will find out and file for divorce, but no i don't think the person is stupid. he just doesn't care, and maybe leaves the evidence to get out of a marriage he doesn't want to be in anyway.

If i suspect a person is cheating or know for sure I'd definitely ask. And if they are I'd leave em. And if they get all mad and deny it then they probably are cause of the anger. Good luck. No one deserves to be cheated on. Well some ppl do but they aint worth being with in the first place if thats the case.

Well, I think either he's too dumb too care, or you're reading far too much into something.

Case and point, I have a lot of female friends. The ratio is literally more than 10 to 1, that's just who I get along with. I'm not about to cheat on my partner, I love her far too much.

That said, there have been occasions that look... 'bad'. If someone isn't thinking things through. When I say bad, I mean these things could look *BAD*. People leave things around, sometimes things like a card, some papers, their cell phones, wallets, or who-knows-what. Those things can leave lingering questions (Which is why I make sure that my partner knows about everyone I interact with, it gives her reason to trust me, because I'm completely honest and upfront with her.)

If you've found something that you think means he's being unfaithful, you should really think it through from a positive perspective before jumping to conclusions. It's easy to draw a conclusion and say to yourself "How could it possibly be anything but this!?!?!"... But in fact it very well may be something else.

Case in point, three weeks into my marriage, my wife found someone else's undergarments in my truck. She came to me waving them around, screaming "WHO IS SHE!?!?! WHO'S ARE THESE!?!?!"

It's reasonable to be upset when you think something like this is happening, but containing yourself until you've confirmed it is important.

In this particular situation, there was a perfectly valid explanation. They belonged to one of her friends. They had fallen out of her gym bag when I was giving her a ride home (At my wife's request, ironically).

Is this a typical scenario? Definitely not. But things like this happen.

Ask him about it, don't confront him, *ask* him. There's a difference. 'Asking' means using a friendly tone(not loud or high pitched) "Honey, I noticed this in your car, where did it come from?" whereas 'confronting' is something along the lines of "Where did this come from? Who have you been with?" Keep questions from turning into accusations.

If he's cheating, it doesn't matter if he's being obvious, He's a lowlife and you deserve better. Just make sure he really is.

Also, a quicknote on how to foolproof your guy-lie detector:
If he can calmly tell you without stammering, and without looking away from the moment you answer the question, exactly what happened... It's the truth. If he glances away for a moment, especially if he stammers while doing it -that means he's full of crap. If he tries to make something up, don't stick around. No one deserves to be cheated on. NO ONE. Sorry if that comes across strong, but my marriage ended because she was cheating on me. I worked hard to give her every benefit of the doubt and really confirmed things, first by research/contacting people, and later by talking with her about it. It was very painful, and I don't wish it on anybody.

It really is many things. Dumb, careless, lack of caring. Maybe he wants to get caught. The wife may even know and be too scared to say anything as it might end their marriage.
