Definitely...the institution of marriage isn't as sacred as it was 50 years ago...i.e. the divorce rate...and I feel like a lot of people have more of a selfish attitude and are out to make themselves happy, not caring who gets hurt along the way. And overall people just marry when they shouldn't, which leads to unhappiness, and eventually cheating. Its sad to say that things have changed like that, but marriage is evolving along with everything else in this crazy world. |

Probably just the same - the difference with today's society is that everyone is more open about talking about relationships, and communicating, so it's probably more visible now. Also, less emphasis is placed on couples staying together, whereas 50 years ago, it was frowned upon. |

Yes, definatley. Its so easy these days. Computers and mobile phones have a lot to answer for. Also there is more opportunity more disposable income to get out and about more. |
