I'm retired and on social security. My life is great, my health is good and I couldn't be happier. I have time to walk 6 miles a day, time to garden, time to babysit my grandchild, time to cook decent meals, time to travel (when the stockmarket picks up again), time for my friends and more importantly I can put off until tomorrow what I don't feel like doing today. We just rode our bikes for 2 hours and I may take a nap!!! |

i would say that it does. you get past the part where you worry about what other people think. i would love to have the energy of a kid again but would never want to worry about other people.it is amazing to look back and see some of the things that you thought were important that were so trivial.
i guess it would depend on how good your youth was.
mine was great after school but even better now. don't think i would want to do the school thing again |
