The more generous you are the less power you have and more will be wanted and expected. The less you give, the greater your power and little will be expected. Very often, not an absolute rule. My dear wife behaves wonderfully and the reason is she has a Master, I physically chastise her when her levels of production slip and I praise her and spoil her when she is obedient. It has become somewhat of a game, there are times when she may feel she needs taking in hand and her behaviour slides down that slippery slope, when that happens, she is dealt with accordingly, thrashed and used but often enjoyed. It has kept a sparkle in our marriage and a proper sense of order. I hope this in some way shows you the path ahead. I hope you have not been so slack that things have gone too far and it is too late. Lots of luck.

I can see what you are trying to say, I think? I make things for my husband, he doesn't ask me to, I just do it as a sign of my love for him. It's almost like a treat for him and I've put my love into it. It's a sweet gesture. Obviously people have forgotten about the small things about showing you care and love them. Of course you should give something back if she does do this for you, but I understand how this simple gesture would mean to you.
