I would for sure go back to court and contest it only because its sounds like the income information is false/incorrect.You and your daughter deserve more then that good luck hun!

I make more than that, and i assure you it is a little under 2000 after taxes. Either way I surrender a third of my monthly pay for my son. Do I mind? Nope, I want to make sure my boy is spoiled.

That is not fair. The child support is way too low. You should go back to court.

After taxes he doesn't make no 2000 a month not even close. I've made 15 bucks and hour so I know.

Uh... with taxes darling, he definitely does NOT make over $2000... thats for sure.

uh... if his salary is not correct, then yes you should go back for more money.. of course... or better yet, tell HIM to go back and correct the error.

They base it on his yearly income. They also take your income into consideration.

I would contact the agency who handles your child support order and then ask them to send you the forms to have the child support re-evaluated. They will then get info from your ex and maybe even you to redetermine how much he should be paying etc. Be happy you're at least getting that amount, my husbands ex isn't even showing to her court hearings and is trying to hide she has a job.

ask for an amendmet shoe proof do u have proof? of the income or ask the childsupport office to look into his/her lies about there salary hope this helps they dont like liers

They calculated it from his expendable income after taxes and reasonable living expenses such as rent and utilities.

You can ask for a review if you believe the figure is incorrect.

Alternatively, you can put your child in day care and go to work yourself, like many mothers do.

Have you ever thought if you put the same time and effort to good use that you could actually work and increase YOUR income?

And maybe you have very low standards but $15 is $hit money, I'm suprised he can support himself on that, let alone anyone else.

Also, it's CHILD support, not baby-mama support. You are suppose to be a big girl and support yourself.
