I'm confused by these people that say never phone men first. Do you think that's a good rule? I have had ex's ask me to go back with them EVEN THOUGH I called first. So why do some books advise that we should not call first?
Isn't that a bit ignorant? I hate it when nobody calls as I'm a very sociable person. What do you think?

I hate it when people talk about relationships and dating as if there are set "rules" you must follow in order for things to go well.
Everyone is different, you can't live life by textbook rules, be yourself.
If you want to call a guy, just call him, it will show him you are interested, and if he doesn't appreciate it then he wouldn't have called you up no matter how long you would have held out right? :)
I made the effort with my boyfriend, and he said it made me stand out from other girls, who acted like they didn't care.
Not all guys are hot for the "hard to get" thing, it just annoys most of them, well, the ones i know anyway.
