love is something that needs to be worked at. falling in love at first sight is jus falling in love with someones looks - finding someone attractive. but love needs time, it needs attention, care, respect and many other things. some couples are just attracted to each other and because their so infatuated, they think their in love, get married and even have kids. but they'll soon realise that love takes a lot of effort and decide that it's just better off to let it go. ..so yeah.. ah, i'm a bit confused at the moment so i wasn't really reading what i was typing, but that's waht i learnt from love.. |

Too many ppl seem to have this idea that once you fall in love, it's all over from there and you're supposed to have some fairy tale happy ending. If you want to stay in love, you work at it. You meet your partners needs, you meet your partner 50/50 on things, you put in the work. No one ever said that being in love was easy. Too many ppl are ready to tuck tail and run once things start getting rough instead of staying, fighting for what they have, and making it stronger. |

i think its all about unmet expectations u get when u fall in love, u expect things to always be loving but unfortunately as time goes on and reality sets in, u realize it requires hard work to stay in love. it doesn't always end, sometimes u work out the problems and it gets better. |

The reason most marriages fail is either that people didn't choose well in the first place, and really shouldn't have gotten married, or selfishness. I would say selfishness is the number 1 reason. |
