Ex husband wants me to drive him and new girlfriend around?

My son is going to his fathers this weekend. My son has a baseball game. My ex said he would only let him go if I pick up my ex, his new girlfriend, and my son. I am not on speaking terms with my ex. He does not have a job, does not drive, and he is 47. Should I drive them around or just say my son can skip the game this week. Did I mention I can not stand him.

To add more detail...I am the coach of the baseball team so I can't say I have other plans. My ex pulled the same crap during soccer season. He is using my guilt that he knows I will drive across town to help my son. My son is only 7 so he does not understand why I would not just pick them up. However, I think that I need to put my foot down. I am 30 he is 47 how much longer do I need to help him out...

Your husband is a loser and a horrible father for putting any conditions to your son attending his baseball game, you should be glad that you're divorced!
I would laugh and say yes, pick them up and drive them, hey why not, it just makes your hubby look more like a loser in front of his new g/f. Also, it makes a strong statement that you're putting your son's interest before anything or anyone.

Just tell your ex you've made plans for the weekend since it is HIS weekend to take care of his son and his baseball schedule. End of discussion, don't play his game.

hard situation. but remember your son is the most important one here. im trying to think of what i would do in this situation......i think i would have to be the mother my son needs and try to be as polite as possible in this. act like you dont give a dam about your ex and focus on your son. i think thats about the best i could do .....good luck.

It is not your responsibility to drive around your ex, his new girlfriend and your son! For crying out loud!

Why doesn't he have other modes of transportation? Sounds like he wants to show off his new girlfriend to you and I would tell your son to stay home at your house, go to the game...switch weekends with your ex.

and tell your ex to prioritize his time with his son and/or GET A BUS SCHEDULE or make his son's activities a priority of his as well!

do it for your son, and be nice. it will be good for him to see that you can all get along. it would make him happy all of you being at the game
