My husband proposed to me after 6 months, and we had the wedding a year later. Two days before our 3rd anniversary, we had our first child. 27 days before our 6th anniversary, we had our 2nd child. We'll be married 8 years in April of next year.

We met for the first time on Monday April 9th, 1979, first date was Friday April 13th, 1979, got engaged July 6th, 1979, married Aug. 18, 1979 and been together ever since, well, I did leave him for 6 weeks. It hasn't been a bed of roses, got to have lots of patience, tolerance and of course love! We have 2 grown girls, 1 granddaughter and another baby on the way in early 2007. I tell ya, it has been an adventure to say the least!
