If you weren't doing anything to keep your home in good repair and also not completing renos that you started well over a year ago and your wife hired a guy to do the work whose company name is "Husband For Hire" would it humiliate you into actually doing the work yourself or would you feel "off the hook" and pay him to fulfil your responsibilities?
(It's fascinating to delve into the male mind, don't you think?)

some people are not mechaniclly inclined and are not bothered by hiring someone to do the work regardless of the company name.if the guy doesnt do it she has every right to call someone to do it .s/b talked about between the couple to fit their financial budget or it may cause a fight |

it depends if there was a reason i wasn't finishing something. I look to hire someone for most repairs around the house i am a car guy i hate home repairs. So to answer your question no it would not bother me. |

It is an unfair question.
Can you afford to hire a contractor to do the work?
What kind of work does hubby do?
How much stress is he under from work?
He obviously is under alot of stress at home by you.
And is probably thinking and trying to anyalyze things way too much.
Because of you "seem" to be manipulating.
Therefore, if it were me under this situation, I'd feel off the hook.
Certainly not humilated, because I am paying someone to do the work. |
