What I mean is, how long after realizing you wanted only her did you wait to get married? I ask because this man I know is taking an interest in me, but I am not ready yet. I am wondering how long I have before he gives up.

My husband was divorced from his first wife in 1979.....2 years later he had a brief relationship that ended badly. After that he never had a serious relationship until I came along....he swore no re-bounds and that he would never settle until the right one came along.
We started out as members of a message board...he said he knew even from my first few posts that I was the one....we IM'd and leave posts on the message board for almost 3 years before we started talking via phone...he would hint at what he was feeling but I wasn't sure at all after all, we had never met and spent face to face time together...then we met face to face after 7 months of phone calls...he said that clinched it..but I asked him to give us a year's worth of courting..I just wasn't sure.....after almost a year tho, I was finally sure and wasted no time.......we were married one year & one day to that face to face meeting. Been almost 3 years since our wedding...we are very happy...good luck.
According to him, he knew I was out there before we ever met, he just had to refuse to settle..so he says he waited for me for almost 30 years. |

If he is a man with options, then its not that he will give up, he'll simply move on to better options. If this not a guy who has a lot of women to choose from, then perhaps you are a woman who also does not have a lot of dating options. |
