Gay marriage..wrong or right?

I have seen this question before. First, I will say that people will do what they want in life. No one can make anyone not do something that they think is wrong.

Now that I have said that, I do not agree with gay marriage. It was never the idea where marriage is concerned. Marriage is between two people, man and woman, to continue a family life. This is moral issues as well as social ones. I do not condone this life style either but again, I am not going to put anyone down because I disagree with it. I just want the same curtesy not to have to have things shoved down my throat just like they would not want to have things shoved down theirs.

I am not gay, but I feel like if gay people want to marry, they should be able to. I just want to live my life and I feel like they do, too.

If you accept the "fact" that God made everything...you then HAVE to accept the fact that God made Gay people, and God doesn't make mistakes.
If you want to argue against Gay marriage, you may want to leave God out of it.
I'm all for it.

Marriage imparts more than a spiritual oneness to a fellow breeder. It imparts property rights and protections, inheritance rights, tax benefits, etc. Christians often neglect to abide by Matthew 7:1 and say "that rotten sinner has a lot of gall sticking their head up here with decent folks. Knock 'em down, by God!" It's really not by God at all. Scripture says "God is Love." If you hate anyone in His name you become a worse sinner than the gays you preach against.

I've been married to the same woman for 32 years and have been partnered with the same man for 21 (we own a horse ranch together). They know about each other and like each other, we even go dancing and partying together. Everything that I have with my wife is a given by marriage to give her rights and previlages. Everything with my partner has to be protected by contracts, etc. in court at our expense. Even that doesn't go very far. A year or so ago, while riding in the woods a pig ran under his horse and the horse threw him. He was unconcious until the EMT's got him to the hospital. The hospital wouldn't let me or my wife be with him in intensive care or even tell us how he was doing until 5 hours later when his mom arrived from out of state and put us on the family list. That's not right. Admittedly, he and I will never be able to marry anyway since that would be bigamy but the same thing happens to gay partners every day.

Whether it's right or wrong is irrelevant. If two gays get married How does that affect me at all? In the constitution it says that everyone has the right to pursue whatever makes them happy as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone's freedoms. Would gay marriage make some people happy? Yes. Does it affect my life or infringe upon my freedoms in any way? No. I'm pro gay marriage, because of that. I don't believe in it, and I'm not gonna marry another dude, but that doesn't mean that other ppl shouldn't have the freedom to do what they want.

well im a straight guy and i mean being gay isnt wrong i just dont like it and even though i find it weird/disgusting the truth is i think gays should be allowed to marry...the government is extremely hypocrytical about a separate church and state because if we really did have a separate church and state this wouldn't even be an issue...as long as your not promoting gaydom or even straightdom for that matter and you're only doing something because you choose to why not
