Getting Married Within A Month Any Information?

Me and my boyfriend are getting married within a month. We have a small budget. I want to have the ceremony at the courthouse and have a reception at my mothers house after wards. Then have a few days off to got to a hotel or something...Maybe on the beach. Just looking for any ideas,stories,suggestions,anything :) I want to make it kind of small but memorable.

Yes ive known him since grade school.. been dating a little over a year but im sure about it :)

my husband and i had 2 1/2 months to plan a wedding...and a small budget....
Invites...printed on home computer
Food...Made by ourselves we have a GFS which is a bulk store...it helps
Decorations...Basics...cheap table cloths(plastic ones GFS as well lol) i made the confetti for the tables with a hole punch and construction paper much cheaper but a lot of work...Basic things really balloons and streamers...we didn't use helium balloons they can get pricey we blew ours up and taped them...
Borrow..Borrow..Borrow...Tables...Chai... Bowls...as much as u can...
The cake...thats a little pricey if you want something really special but if not get a basic cake with pretty decor...or if you have a Hobby shop alot of them have cake making kits as well...
Gifts...we asked some family members to give gifts early as part of wedding...we had more of a formal wedding ceremony as well...also if you don't really need a lot of things for the home...let people know you want help for a honey moon....
Honeymoon...we stayed in town at a hotel for a few nights went out to a really nice dinner both nights...rented movies and just spent together time...it saved on travel expenses and made it possible for us to get the honeymoon sweet with the hot tub in our room...we really like that....

oh i also made my own archway with balloons i looked up on youtube and decorating sites as to how they did it and mine turned out great...i spent about 15 dollars for a huge archway while a single balloon and very small one would have cost around 85 dollars.... |
