Getting My Head & My Heart Back in the right Place...?

I sent my bootycall that's cheating on his live in girlfriend a text message today. I told him that it was good seeing him on Saturday. I told him that I was here for him whenever he needed a friend, if he was interested in that, but that I'm in bootycall rehab right now. I just have to get my head and my heart back in the right place. And he replied by saying, Got U. I found it strange because he hasn't responded to any my texts in like almost a month. He'll answer the phone when I call and he'll call me at times but he said he isn't into texting, I wonder what it was about that particular text message that made him respond and not ignore it like he normally does the other ones.
Was it a good thing though that I said what I said. I mean a lot of people may feel that I didn't have to say jack to him, just not answer or return his calls anymore, because he wasn't even worthy of my friendship. But I do still care, I just know I have to work on me....so what are your thoughts on this. I did the right thing right?
Why did he respond to that text and he never responded to any of the others.

Maybe his girlfriend picked up his phone and she's the one who sent the response.
One of the dangers of texting is never being 100% sure who you are talking to. |

Maybe he replied to that just because he wanted to because he knew that he usually doesn't, or he could just be like "Okay, good..she said she'll be there when I "need" her, so lemme make sure I affirm this."
I'm glad that you are considering to turn away from this sort of action. It's degrading and you don't ever want to be known as one. |

He responded because he was afraid of losing you. He has no interest in you besides the booty call and if that stops because of your rehab then you will not hear from him. |

uh... is he a friend or a bootycall? you have referred to him as both and unfortuantely for you, if he was a friend to you he wouldn't be using use as a side fling. Your just a bootycall.
also.. news to you... he's probably more interested in his girlfriend and didn't care to respond to your message. He's focusing on the girl that is worthy to live with him.
You say he's not "worthy" of your friendship... wake up woman, you are not "worthy" to be his girlfriend. Goes both ways. |
