Why is he ignoring me all of a sudden?
My guy friend and I were very good friends from school. we were able to tell each other everything and chat for hours online in the night. But all of a sudden he stopped picking up my calls/ not replying my texts/ not chatting/ not emailing. It is like he doesn't care about me. I never said anything bad to him or never hurt him. We did not do anything physically to say he got want he wanted. why is he ignoring me all of a sudden? I did tell him that I consider him a very good friend the night before he stopped talking and he means a lot to me and also made it clear that we are nothin more than good friends that was it usual good bye. after that completely ignoring me. :((( I feel horrible. He knows I was never in a relationship. He had a gf from the beginning.
And then yesterday he sent me an IM saying "are you okay". As is he didnt get any of my messages. Why would he do that? I am sure he got the texts and IMs
he doesn't pick up the call or reply to messages

I think maybe you have been freaking out a little. It sounds like you have called/texted/im'd way too much. I get what flaming idiot is saying, but at the same time it does seem strange. As far as a confrontation on his door step, I wouldnt go that far either. This is gonna sound weird, but leave him alone. My best guy friend did this same thing to me three years ago. It hurt to let him leave, but he came back and we got married. I am not saying this is what is gonna happen with you, but give him the space he is clearly wanting and wait. If you love something let it go. If it comes back, that's how you know it is yours forever. |

You mention that you never did anything physically so he can't say that he got what he wanted... Do the math, the time and effort he spent conversing with you was an investment that didn't pay off... What do you think he was after?

Hmm, strange timing, he stopped talking to you the day after you affirmed to him that you two were JUST FRIENDS?
Are you CERTAIN that he didn't want to be more than friends with you?
I'm thinking maybe he had feelings for you, but as soon as he found out that you had him stuck in "the friend zone", he wanted out.
Maybe he's hoping you'll put two and two together.
