Heck yes, it's her money too. It doesn't matter who earned it. She should have equal say. The bills should all be paid first then decide what to do with what's left together. |

Yep, otherwise my family would live in tent with no groceries and I would own every toy known to man in my possession.
The marriage is a partnership, you agree on goals fo things you need to have and the things you want to have. Saving money is the same way.
This should apply even if mom or dad stays home to look after the kids. That kind of help is priceless. |

I think it depends.
Me and my husband split all bills based on our income.. He spends his extra money on what he wants and I spend my extra money on what I want. |

If you are the main bread winner you should ask for a list of things your wife needs to spend money on for the week. Clothing, coffee, etc. Give her that sum and then pay the bills and send some money to savings. As the bread winner you decide where the money goes but as a husband you must provide for the things your wife needs. |
