funny how your "manic high" does not allow you to walk in traffic with no clothes on! know why? cause you know there are swift and serious consequences, and with your own family, you are able to hurt and maim without serious harm to yourself. shame. shame.

i would assume your family no longer has anything to do with you and you are of course not blaming your own disgusting actions, you are blaming that manic high.

No. I take my medicine every day, go to the dr, go to bed on time, say I'm sorry when I'm rude and accept that these are the conditions under which I must operate the rest of my life. I take it very seriously.

I was married to a bipolar for 20 years, not knowing until finally I got hims to see counseling and I found out he was manic depressive bipolar which explain his behavior for so many years. He seeked treatment for a while, but then he stop and acted worst. I left him, we were a nice family, He could have been the perfect man, but I could not take anymore being married Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hide.

Yes the medication is the responsibility of the person who suffers bipolar, but people need to realize that the actions of someone bipolr
are the result of the disorder, not because they are lying,cheating, evil people. People need to take the disorder into account and not judge based solely on their actions.

I was thought to be bopolar once, doctors diagnos anything now days. The problem I had was the medicine it is whaky. Make a sane person go crazy. Anyway since I am not bipolar I could not answer that expertly.

Bipolar Disorder hasn't destroyed my family. It has been difficult though. You have to be strong and very supportive of your loved one. Study all you can about the disease so you can understand it better.

Bi-polar DOES NOT ruin a marriage. Not treating it and not keeping one step ahead, is what does it. My dad is bipolar and my parents have been happily married for 28 years and still going strong.

One of my brothers was bi-polar, and my dad refused to believe it was real. He spread lies about my brother saying he was faking everything, and banned him from visiting us.

Last year my brother comitted suicide because he didn't get the support he needed and that tore our family apart. Now I watch my dad fight for brothers money with others, it's disgusting.

My brother didn't cause us to lose anything, he was a good person who couldn't control his depression.
