Don't marry him. He will resent you later because of it. If life doesn't turn out the way he wants you will be the blame because you married and he really didn't want to do it. He is not going to wake up one day and think, this is a great thing I have done and I am glad you forced me into it. Let it go. Either deal with him as is or move on to the next person. Good luck.

I see a divorce, before the wedding bells have even rung. After 4 1/2 years and he still doesn't want to settle down and marry you? It's time to cut your losses and move on. Move in together. If after three months you feel the same, and he feels the same about not wanting it, then there you go.

Meeting every month for 4 or 5 years means you see each other maybe sixty times. In three months, you will have seen each other 90 times, or the equivalent of over 7 more years of anguish.

this is a very delicate situation, for the simple fact for you have a long distant relationship and u only see him once a month..i think you need to really look at this relationship carefully and ask yourself if you are truly in love with each other? why he is not wanting to get married? you should talk to him about all this..

ur mom or dad
ur cousin/sister
ask ur self

it doesnt matter what any one else thinks of who u marry

I know 4-5 years is a long relationship but, if he is not ready to marry now then he won't later on. Even so, marriage should not be something you compromise about it should be because you both genuinely want to get married. Forcing a guy to do this will only make the relationship harder either now or later. If he marries you it is because you want to not because he does. With that said he will not be happy being married with you and it will show on your unhappy future. Good luck hope everything works out.
