Try to tell him your views on this, and ask him to try to understand that you are already happy and busy with a child, work, and school. Having another will take a LOT of time and attention from your first child, and once they're older the age difference won't matter.

Plus, has he considered that he won't be there to help you during the hardest times with your second child, having two that are so young? And he will miss out on one of the most important parent-child bonding times in this child's life! What's best for the whole family is that you wait till he comes back.

3-4 yr gap sounds good between 2children..btw who would take care if he is gone-he wants a child n he would be gone after making u pregnant,does it sound a good plan.ask him to be there around or ask him to be back.else only u would be engaged in producing the baby-diverting ur attention to 3yr and ur job.

try to put these points in front of him n the point u discussed with us. not so bad idea to wait for a yr but he too sounds logical planning a kid when he's 31 and ur child would also get a sis/bro.

Honestly I would do it now before your fertility drops. I thought I was smart by waiting until I was 27 to get pregnant. I will be 29 in one month, and don't have any children nor a pregnancy.

Ok, he is deploying for a year....I am going to assume its to Afghanistan, can you not see why he wants this now? What if he doesnt come home? have you considered that, two years may sound good to you but he may not come back from this deployment then there is no chance of him having another child.
And how on earth can you go to school, work and give your all to your child? Who is raising your 3 year old? Daycare? your parents? Surely not you because you cant possibly have the time to invest in your child if you are invested in both job and school. Maybe you should stop being selfish and put your family first, you have the rest of your life to have a career you only have about 18 short years to raise your kids.

well, you don't too much of an age difference between your children.

when your oldest is 5, he/she will think the younger one is too annoying to do anything fun with, while your younger one will look up to him, and only be let down because they're being left out.

idk though, it's your decision.
