How can I be more romantic with my wife without spending money?

Clean the house...spotless...make all three meals......do all errands and deal with the kid's....bathing, fighting etc.....let her relax.....wait on her...do this all with your smiling and genuine self....she will love it!!

take her somewhere that you don't have to pay for, like a park. set up a picnic and have lunch

write something for her, a poem, a song, a letter expressing your love

tell her how much you love her everyday and WHY you love her.

think OUTSIDE of the box.
do something that shows that you know her well / something that shows you remember the earliest stages of your relationship

edit: maybe if you PUT SOME EFFORT she will like it. have you ever tried being creative? even if someone does something really cheesy, it will still show that you thought about her and she will appreciate the effort. yes, poems have been written before, but it is what you would say in it that shows that you love her.

Touch her more...smile more at her, run her a bath once in a while...give her a massage every now and then, open the car door for her.

The little things really count for a lot.

If these things are to cheesy for you, then try this. Fly her to paris for dinner and desert...then take her on a weekend cruise to the caribean for some good times. Send chocolate and flowers to her job (assuming she has one) and notes, professing your undying love for her.

Otherwise, stick to cheap every day options like the ones given here by other yahoo users and stop complaining, you cheap fart!

My guy is amazing with this. Some of the things he's done:

* put a rose and a card (maybe $3 total) on my car while I was at work for me to see when I came out

* surprised me with a nice dinner on the patio that he cooked, candles and everything

Oh there are tons of ways! You can cook for her, that decreases the spending in a fancy restaurant. You can write her a romantic letter, send her cute emails and texts, you can just tell her constantly how much you desire her. You don`t have to spend to be romantic.

how about love notes, a freshly picked flower, a kiss on the cheek or forehead, cuddle up on the sofa or next to a fire and talk. maybe a picnic in the woods with a bottle of wine. its the little things that matter most, money has nothing to with being romantic.Â

Why don't you take her to a park at nighttime when it's pitch black dark, lay out a blanket, and have a candlelit dinner under the stars? Plan it on a full moon, that will make it really nice. If you have a small CD player, why don't you take that and play some good old soft rock!

There's a number of things you can do for her.

1) Cook dinner for her or do the laundry. Pick any number of household chores.....it's a great way to let her relax.

2) Give her a nice foot rub or massage

3) Take her somewhere beautiful to watch the sun set, pack a light dinner.

4) Breakfast in bed.

These are just some suggestions, hope it helps!

Romance is free, it just takes time and a genuine heart.

Write her notes and poems and leave them places where she'll find them when you're not there. You being absent makes the whole thing better because her emotions build up since she can't just thank you and be done with it.

Pick some flowers from somewhere, or cut out some construction paper flowers and bring them to her when her friends are present. Any worshiping you do where others can see gets triple word score points.

Just be silly, fun and happy. Any childish thing that makes her the center of attention. Serenade her from outside her window, stuff like that.

Let her play video games WITH you. :) Pack a picnic and go to the park. try putting on some music and ask her to dance. Light the candles, make her dinner, give her a massage. Run her a tub of bubbles. Read to her (one of my all time favs) Do you live in a house? or apartment? take a moonlight stroll and make love outside ....the list goes on.
