I am now in college, fully grown, but I am only 4' 9''. I am also redheaded and covered with freckles. And another problem is being with my family. They are all tall and beautiful. My mom is 5' 11, my dad is 6'2'' and my sisters are the same height as my mom. Whenever we get together as a family, my mom and sisters get me to go to the beach with them, only so they can humiliate me in front of everyone. My mom and sisters will wear bikinis to show off their bodies and take me along with them. I'm 20 years old but they still do this. After we stay at the beach, they'll take me out to this local bar and ask women if they find me attractive. Most women just laugh. Granted, my mom only does this when she is drinking--and she says she regrets how I turned out when she is sober--but I can't take much more. My dad will barely talk to me, and I can see in his face what he thinks about me when he has to look down to see me.

There's nothing wrong with red hair and freckles...and my best friend's brother is like 4'5" and his wife thinks he's super hot and she's way taller than him. A lot of times when people tease like that, it's because they can...if you act like you don't care and demand respect by respecting yourself and accepting yourself for the way you are, you'll find people stop teasing you. You've got to learn to just not care. There's nothing hotter than a short guy that is confident. You need to demand respect from your parents. They shouldn't be getting away with talking to a 20 year old that way. I make fun of myself about my insecurities and somehow they don't bother that much anymore and nobody would ever know I have any. My husband is missing a tooth in front and is constantly making fun of himself about it and girls check him out all the time. You might not feel like you can take it anymore...but trust me, start making fun of yourself and others will stop and eventually you'll have the confidence in yourself. And you truly won't care...it won't be an act anymore. |

thats what i always tell myself anyways, im 5'0 and my entire family is tall even my fiance is 6'1 so he breaks his back to kiss me basically lol
