How can I stop my husband from filing a divorce?

My husband told me that he has fallen in love with another lady. To be responsible, he has to file a divorce with me . He avoids contact me and cuts my line if I call him.

You can't stop him . He has made his decision and the sooner that you let him go the better of a chance you will have at healing .
You also have to tell yourself that this was not your fault . No one twisted his arm and made him go out and cheat . He done that all on his own .
Then ask yourself why you would want to hang on to a cheater .
By hanging on to a cheater you will do nothing but set yourself up for future heartache .
Once a cheater , always a cheater .
Do yourself a big favor and be thankful that you will soon be rid of him .
In a few years he will do to her what he has done to you .
Let him go , move on with your life and save your dignity .

So you're saying you want to stay with a guy who no longer loves you or wants to be with you? Why would you put yourself through that?!

It sounds like he has already made up his mind so there's probably nothing you could do to stop him. But why would you want to stop him? He sounds like a weak person, obviously he's a liar who doesn't respect you or the vows he made so I say kick him to the curb!

You can't stop him, but you can pray for him to come to a place of sincere repentance and to honor his vow/commitment to you. God can and does MUCH in the hearts of rebellious men/women when we pray for them........
