This may be a gross exaggeration, but some of these men may as well be the devil in what they did to the woman and child and what they continue to do these women and children.

I agree women should be more picky; however, I am referring to men who pretend to be something else...in my case, a perfect man...ALL the way up until the day (yes, the VERY DAY) I became pregnant, that day he changed an immense amount, became abusive (emotionally and physically) out of the blue and once I had my child (yes, I say mine because he doesn't want anything to do with her) he became abusive towards her...from birth till a few months once I left. This, after being in a wonderful relationship for 13 years. Not kidding, no exaggerations, but I post this question as I see a lot of women who have had to go through this!

Obviously you are sleeping with the wrong type of men. Haven't you ever heard "you teach people how to treat you"? If you "sleep with the devil", I guess you get what you think you deserve. Personally, I've never had that experience (thankfully).
Children are innocent, they need to be loved & protected and given a safe place in the world. This doesn't just happen, it takes two well-adjusted adults who love and respect each other. Two adults who are commited to each other and their family. The men you describe are not capable of creating the environment a child needs to grow up in to become a stable and well-adjusted adult.
I don't know how you developed such a negative view of relationships, obviously you are dating the wrong men. |
