My husband always tells me I never have to worry about him having a mid-life crisis as he would have to grow up for that to happen!
He is a big kid at heart, but not to the point that he is irresponsible or anything.
I love him just the way he is ......don't want to change a thing about him! |

You can't. He has to choose to do that on his own. You can tell him that he's hurting the relationship. You can demand he go to counseling. You can demand he live up to his obligations and "grow up" as you put it. But ultimately, he has to decide to do it on his own. All you can do is decide whether or not you're willing to wait. |

Unfortunately, the only real answer is time. Men mature later than women and some more slowly than others. It really depends on what you mean.
I do know one thing for sure, no amount of complaining, arguing, prodding will make any difference. It will only make life harder for you. You married him how he his (for the most part).
