Ok, usually I am on here bashing Twilight or the Obama administration, but tonight I'm feeling a little on the romantic side.
I was watching my wife sleep...how peaceful and beautiful she is....and I began to think....HOW can some folks be so happy without love in their life?
I look at her and I know that even when I am arrogant or acting like a complete moron, this crazy woman loves me unconditionally. I am a better man for having that in my life..
I just really wonder how some folks can live without it.
How can they live without that support
that compasion
that complete feeling that you can only know with true love??

Awww. That's sweet. I don't know how people can live without love. Even as mixed up, nutbag crazy as my life can sometimes be, it is, quite literally, over-flowing with people who love me entirely--flaws and all--and who would do anything for me if I were ever in need.
It's a foundation I simply cannot imagine existing without, and I do not take it for granted. I regularly appreciate it, and tell them so.
Thanks for the lovely thought. Why don't you write this down and give it to her. It's fabulous to send this kindness out into the Universe, but make sure you share it with her, as well (I'm sure you would have, just wanted to say that.) :)
Added: and leave Twilight and Obama alone, for goodness sakes! Twilight is perfection, and Obama is, well, why don't you wait and see, oh ye of little faith! :P |
