I have been cheated on by my husband and has since forgave him we have moved on and it has been 1 year since it happened.I have such a hard time trusting him he has changed and has scum to my terms in order for me to stick with the marriage but for some reason every time he goes somewhere I get all worked up.I know I have to trust him if I forgave him but I don't know how to do that.

If you are able to you are very strong. Me, I was able to forgive but never able to forget and the hurt and the feelings about the cheating were always present and on top of that I lost respect for her and it was something I was not capable of regaining... so we had to split up. I'm glad I did because I met someone who I really respect, trust and truly love more than the world. Although at the time we split I didnt know it, it was a blessing to part ways. Maybe it would be for you too. |

Our situation is very similar. I've been told that you have to learn to trust again and move forward, but it's hard. I haven't completely let go and I will never forget. We were separated for 8 months. It was terrible! I am not gonna go into detail, but I wanted to save our marriage because I love(d) him, but I also don't want to live the life where you're always wondering what he's doing and where he's at. I don't want to be like that, but it happens from time to time because it hurt so bad when we were apart that I never want to feel that kind of pain again so I am protecting myself. Just take it one day at a time and date all over again. That's what we did and are still doing. |
