How come there's so few interracial couples?

We live in Toronto. There's like 5 black guys in all of Canada. In addition I was born in Russia and she on Jamaica. We're like a walking billboard for United Colors of Benetton. So my question is how come there's so few couple like us. Especially with a white guy. We do fight, but generally we have more in common than I have with most other white people :)

It just depends on the nation. Some nations are still struggling to see that there is nothing wrong with it, while others embrace it.

My boyfriend and I live in Pennsylvania, and have been dating for over three years. He's Chinese, I'm Irish. Although our culture's history in America is somewhat related, they are two totally different cultures. I love it though.

I think it is just a matter of where you live.In the U.S. we have many different kinds of interracial couples all over and it is very common.

Here in America, they are everywhere we go. I'm in an interracial relationship right now. The averages, are really high. Don't worry, interracial couples are in fact really common. It's just not seen as much in your country.

I suggest maybe you do some traveling to some other cities and you'll see your not so special there. :-)n IF we were all to do extensive reasearch we'd all see we're probably all or most have all the interracial bloods running in our veins.

I know for a fact, there are MORE than 5 black guys in ALL of Canada.
Why are some people so concerned about the shade, or color of another persons skin?
Is there some bearing on why you two fight, and the color of skin? I always thought people fought over concepts and ideas, differences in opinion.
As for interracial couples, I strongly believe Humans should ONLY marry Humans. WE don't need any Vulcans, Klingons, Romulans, OR filthy Ferengi wandering around OUR Planet!!
