How come women are not arrested when they don't pay child support?

The average child support order handed to a woman, is far less than the one handed to a man, with the same amount of children...

and yet, women are not profiled on most wanted lists, prosecuting attorney sites, and even I, as a child advocate, collecting, or trying to collect from deadbeat mothers, am amazed at how far states/counties will go to protect these females from prosecution.

usually they have other children in the home therefore they will not be arrested, the average deadbeat mother is on welfare because of all the other children, therefore cannot be collected from (although society is under the impression that there is such a thing as welfare reform)

funny you should ask this question, most people just assume that all men are evil, mean, deadbeats...they are not, but feminists like to portray that as much as they can, since they view all of society as sheep ("if I repeat it often enough they will believe it") and they profit, as does the state when women and children are simply chatell (check out "undistributed child support" in your own state)...there are billions federally that each state can use as "revenue" stick in the general fund, and use for collateral for loaning purposes...interest on it goes to the federal govt (welfare reform) while men pay back that welfare, and someone {cough} makes a tidy little profit off of each IV-D case....

As stated...the laws are written with the finger pointing at the man. He naturally earns more money and should know better..so Johnny law puts the pressure on men. Listen...Eve took the apple and look who's paying for it! God punished man first (adam), so it is true to a certain point that its a mans world. Why? Cause we get all the crap!

society is bias...women want to be equals but society will never allow women to be treated as severe as men in reference to breaking the law...plus who really wants to send a woman to jail for not paying child support?

It's sad that she doesn't fulfill her financial obligation to her child.

That has been changing in the last few years in fact a neighbor just went to jail for it. She makes good money and spends it on herself, new clothes, shoes, eating out going to Vegas and on other trips, but she wouldn't pay $110 a month to help support the two children she gave birth to. I say it's about time they crack down on deadbeats male or female.

I don't know where you are, but, I have known of "Mothers" that were arrested and jailed for not paying Court Ordered Child Support. I don't think that because they wear the handle "Mother", that - that excuses them from their financial responsibilities. God Bless.

Men don't go straight to jail for not paying support. This might happen once in a while, but the goal of the family court system is not to jail people. It's to ensure children are financially supported.

Because were better then men? lol j/k but It's the whole society outlook. Men are the providers and women stay home so I assume men are the ones who make the most and can afford it more easy then women can...So I guess courts are more lenient on women knowing they will struggle with the payment more...Not sure, just saying

I dont know how it is that a man is about 40,000.00 behind yes I mean forty thousand behind in child support and there isnt even a damn warrent out for this guys arrest. Dawson County Ne. needs to get off there asses and do something about these deadbeats . What a Joke Nebraska is on child support enforcement. Deadbeats win over child support in Nebraska. What do you have to beg them to do their damn job. We are sick of getting the run around everytime we calll those peices of crap
