There is a fairly popular online service (which will remain nameless--I'm no idiot!) that "hooks people up", an adult escort service, if you get my drift! They had a poll of their members/clients not too long ago which asked how many of the men (just men) were married. The percentage of men who actually admitted to being married was an astonishing 78%!! That's over three quarters of married men, and that's just the men who admitted to being married!! That will give you an idea of the men who cheat--I'm sorry that there was no data on the women--but if you figure that it's even 50% less (a very conservative estimate), then somewhere around 30% of women cheat also! That was really an eye-opener to me, and I am single!! |

I still like to believe most of us are honest and true. I would say it is fifty fifty with an equal split with both men and woman. |

I don't know precise percentage; however, if we include emortional cheat( just thinking about being someone else instead of their spouse, flirting, or comparison between the current spouse and ex, for example), I should say nearly all of married couples have infidelity. |

I don't know that stats, but in my opinion, it's far too common and once is one time too much. If you're asking because someone you love cheated on you ... that's a deal breaker for me (regardless of statistics) and your feelings will determine if it's the same for you. |

The stats reported aren't exact (many people won'tadmit to cheating) but about 40% are reported to cheat on their partners at some time in the relationship.
