just stop asking and enjoy what you got ,you seem to think a piece of paper will make her more bound to you ,that piece of paper or your pushing for it could mean the end of a good relationship ,seen it a few times , just leave it the way it is and thrieve on it as a family ,your son does'nt care if you are married or not ,all he cares about is his Mum and Dad ,so don't bring him into it as a barganing point he could be the one that really gets hurt ,consider that .Good luck

Maybe she doesnt need a piece of paper to justify your unity to her? If everything is ok up until now then maybe she doesnt want to get married?

If nothing is broken don't fix it. The same goes for relationships, if everything is fine the way it is, then why get married. The two of you should have a talk about what you want in life. Maybe she just doesn't believe in marriage. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you love each other and love your children then that is what is most important.

I can tell that you truly love her. I think some women may be scared of a commitment like marriage. Nine years is a big commitment all in itself and perhaps she feels like getting married could change the relationship. Give her time to think things over. Sit down, talk to her, and reasure her. Don't tell her you want to marry cause of your son. Although yes i do realize he does plays a very big part, she may feel you are only asking her cause of that. Tell her how you feel and that you want to marry her because you truly love her and feel that this would be like a step in the relationship to bring you closer together.

She probably witnessed a lot of negative things in either her parents marriage or marriages of others around her which is most often the case. good communication is the key to all good relationships. You should talk to your ex and ask her what she has against marriage? Peace and God bless.

You need to sit down a talk to her about all this about your feelings and resolve any issues you may have with your relationship. If you don't communicate your feelings and concerns with each other on a regular basis your relationship will suffer.

The chances are
She is just feeling a little lost at the moment
She is 26 (If i got that right lol)
And maybe she feels her life has gone by so fast
I am sure she still loves you she just wants to make sure she is making the right choices
But you do need to ask her about life and things
Because she may be having a few problems

I would be concerned about her commitment to you and your family. But the only person who can tell you why is her. I think marriage and monogamy are an important foundation for raising a family. I can understand why you want to marry her. But if she's not ready to be married, then don't push her into it. You will probably end up getting hurt.
