One of my friends told me that you don't have to search for love cause love will eventually find you. Is that true? How did love find you? Have anyone got any real story to share?

I hit her scooter with my bike, it was an accident. Instead of arguing she smiled and said that's okay. The charm in her eyes and her beautiful smile took my heart away. I think it was lust then, but now it turned into love and now we are in love !! I think she is the right one for me. |

Not true.
If you spend your evenings in your pajamas watching 'desperate housewives' love will not find you!
You have to be the best you can be each day and advertise the fact you are free to meet someone. You have to date, accept blind dates, ask your friends and family if they know someone you might like, you have to go through dating services, speed dating, internet dating ...etc.
You may find him anywhere, at the gym, a friend of a friend, a contact at work, in a bar.......but you won't find him in your living room. |

It's partially true. You have to get off the chair and out into the world for him to find you and you to find him. I met my boyfriend in college. We both volunteered at a charity. We didn't date for months and then finally he asked me out for coffee after one class. We have been together ever since. I've got the engagement ring and the date is set. |

well lets see.. how can love find you without someone actually looking for it too?.. like ex: two people are dating two other people and they find out that they werent the right ones.. so they date more and more hoping thatone of them will be the one.. then after they are all heartbroken and have given up they meet eachother.. and they think that this can never be it because they just dont have that "someone special" they said to themselves that they have been looking too long its piontless of trying again.. but they end up dating anyways and they eventually fall in love.. so see what im saying? everyone is looking for love.. because love isnt gonna come to you if your just sitting on the couch watching some old tv show. |

It found me on a camping trip for a graduate school course. :O) I started falling madly in love with him, it was insane, I barely knew him but I was experienced enough in life to know exactly who he was, and I was right (I've been with him a year and a half now, we live together).
He had a girlfriend at the time I met him, I spent every day in anguish about that fact, lol. But little did I know they were fizzling out, and within 2 months, she was gone, and he was asking me out.
I definitely wasnt there looking for love - I had no idea this guy was just going to pop out of thin air and be THE man I'd been dreaming about since I was 16 (I was 31 when we met).
I have had long relationships with other guys but wow, this was an amazing shocker... I think very few people find love this good. I didnt know how different it could be than what I've had before. It's like a fairy tale feeling :O). |

I think your friend is talking crap. Many people never find love at all, and those that do work for it. Tell your friend to stop watching so many chick flicks. |

True love is a myth. You just have to find someone compatible who makes you happy, and of course the feeling should be mutual. From there it's just ups and downs, hard work and perseverance. |

My husband found me when I was not looking for anyone at all. We were at a bar singing karaoke which is something we both enjoy to do. He came up to me and asked me if he could sing a song to me. At first I thought he might be a little crazy but was totally flattered. We hung out after that became best friends and fell deeper in love and we have been together ever since. Going on being married 3 years. With this being said I think love finds you when you are not looking but you can't be sitting around and expect it to find you at home!! |
