Cant their difference make it work out in their marriage. Its always takes two hands to clap, never on one.

Similarities always make life dull and boring after some time. Its kinda hard on both sides in the long run.

I am not saying that I fully agreed on either way works on all relationship but only themselves know it best, not for us to be judgemental on it.

I see it as a complicated mixtures of shared interests and seemingly opposite views that bring people together for long term relationships. It takes the sharing of some interests in order for the two to meet initially and have a basis of interest from which they can communicate and get to know one another. As things progress there needs to be a spark to keep the fire of interest burning. This comes from lively debate or at least different perspectives on certain things that they can agree to disagree but the differences cause excitement within the relationship.

i would love to know the answer to this coz me and my boyfriend are different as night and day in every which way. i would say that temperament wise, thats one thing we have in common, were both very volatile and unfortunately that doesnt help.

Well...I have to "go along" with the person above me.....because there is such a "wise saying" about "Opposites attract" and it seems to really be a "workable" solution to a couple, who are "mismatched" as you've put it ...-smile-

Furthermore...in a way...they will EXTENT each other, which is such an important aspect in any relationship...For instance when one is emotional (like me), excitable, full of abundant temperament, etc. it would be "recommended" to have a partner, who is more calm, cool, collective and not as "over-bubbly" as me...-smile- That's what I mean with "Extending each other".....what one is "lacking"......the other one "possess"...You get my point ?
