How do I break communication from those in my house?

I live with a sister, mother, and aunt. Not only I, but everyone else that I talk to agrees that it is time to move and find a place of my own. Many told me to try and not keep up communication. How can this be done? So far, my mother talks when she has a problem at work. My sister talks when she has a problem for anything. My aunt talks to herself and talks only when she wants something. I'm good at being mute and they are familiar with it because I use to not talk with anyone before. It will not be a problem. Any other advice?

By the way, I am 21. Youcan say my pastwas not great and none of us deserved it. It seems I am the only one moving above it though. I tried for 4 years to compromise with them but they don't seem to get that negativity on life is futile.

I am 21 and I have been on my own since I was 17 and I still keep communication with my family....don't make exscuses...just move out!

I think you should find your own place,trust me after a month or two you will see a big difference in everyone

get involved with an activity, a gym, sports, church...you can even volunteer for different organizations on your time off. Having your own space where you live is important though. Your self-identity is probably at risk with all that's going on with family. They can be our greatest influence. I'm sure they mean no harm, but they are in their "comfortable zone", when it comes to family. You probably have your own views and ideas in life, and so maybe if you can't accept things the way they are, then you should find another space. Think of the pro's and con's first.

i agree you should move out. if you have your own room, just stay in it. if you can, spend time out of the house with your friends for as late as possible so you dont have to be at home with your relatives. i used to not get along well with my dad, but when i moved out of the house we started to get along a lot better. sometimes just living too close to certain people stresses you out. hopefully your relationships will get better when you move out and can visit, then go home when youve had your fill of them.

No, don't ever break communication with your mother, sister, aunt or any family members JUST because you want to move out. They are the only ones you will ever have who will always love you no matter what.

Why don't you go to college or find a job at least. Don't ignore your mother or your family members when they want to talk, you would not like it if your own kids did the same to you.

If you believe in GOD, then believe that who ever cuts off their womb relations, GOD will cut off HIS relation with that person.

Listen to your mother, take her advice, you are HER daughter, she gave birth to you.

If you want try to get married, then move out. Untill then do what I suggested and go to college or find a job.
