How do I stop my wife from looking in my computer?

FIrst I have a apple lap top if that matters.

Second, my wife keeps looking on my computer when I am not looking. She has recently found out that I am having a "virtual relationship" (not real, but virtual) with a mage that is level 79 on WoW. Dariana is almost level 80, I don't see what the fuss is about. That is what I love about Dariana, she has goals and she is ambitious (love you baby, xoxo).
Now my troll of a wife is even more pissed (we have had problems in the past because she says my LARPing group is more important then her and the baby) then ever. She sneaks on my WoW account and pretends to be me to ruin everything with Dariana. IT IS NOT REAL, OMG! How do I stop my wife... I wish I could just cast invisibility on my stuff but I don't have the spell components on this plane of existence... help me, what do I do?

To be honest, if your wife feels that you are giving that part (emotionally) to someone other than her, then you need to sit and openly (honestly) discuss this with her. To you it might be a fantasy, but for a woman, it's hell on earth when a guy isn't giving her the emotional attention. She views it as a detraction from your marriage.

assuming this question isnt a joke (though im sure it is) then you might want to consider making reality a bigger priority. dariana isnt the one you sleep with, have dinner with, live your life with.

how would you feel if you found out your wife was talking to someone and was more intimate with them than you? her own husband??

if youre unhappy with your wife then you might want to look at why that is and vice versa. you ignoring whatever issues you two have will only make the problem worse

I just know I am going to get booed here - but I think the following is a simple truth.....

You have to wonder why it is you value your virtual life more than your real one. I have observed that it is for one of two reasons generally.

Firstly: You have a possessive partner (and it can be a husband - but in your case wife) who is afraid of letting you have any sort of fun that does not involve her. This is because she is afraid that you will discover that she is not a particularly nice or inventive or warm person â€“ so if you go elsewhere and have fun (with your male friends or any other activity or hobby) there is a real chance you will wake up to the fact that she is a complete drag and never come back. She is terribly insecure about you.

Or: You are personally lacking in some core aspects of psychology that enable you to maintain a strong personal relationship with people. In this way you find it difficult to maintain relations with friends/family/partners â€“ and so everything eventually turns pear shaped in the end â€“ so you act obnoxiously from the outset to avoid disappointment. Instead, you obtain this aspect of satisfaction in the much easier â€“ but unreal â€“ virtual world. But it is only a temporary solution.

So â€“ in conclusion â€“ I believe that you should pay your wife sufficient attention to put her mind at ease. If a truckload of effort is still not enough to placate her to the point that she is prepared to let you have your own time on the computer (and not stick her nose in there) â€“ then she is â€“ as you say - a troll that you might need to get away from.

If, however, you discover that you cannot make things good with your wife no matter what you do (or your family, or your friends) â€“ then maybe you should look at why you need to live in a false world. Perhaps try to improve yourself?

You decide which case it is. (maybe a bit of both?)
