First, I'd avoid using the term "fat cow." Try "plump bovine" - it has a much nicer ring to it.
Seriously, though.... Ask her if she wants to join you for a walk. Then walk for 30 - 45 minutes -- every night. Get a gym membership for both of you - and use it. Tell her you love her and want her to be healthy so she will be around longer.
But you have to realize she has to want to change. Ultimately, she's the only one who can change her weight. |

You don't, you just tell her hey, let's go for a walk and maybe join a gym together.... |

You had absolutely better be perfect my friend!
She has gained weight for a reason and you may be the reason. Women gain weight when they are stressed. So instead of judging, try to offload a bit of stress.
Pehaps you could look in the mirror and ask yourself what your is your contribution to the problem?
Is she working full time, caring for children and maintaining the house? No time for herself? No money for the gym or new clothes if she did lose the weight?
Not enough sleep?
Are you sabotaging her efforts? |

How about love her for the way she is, or start working out with her, go for walks together, etc. |

tell her you want to go on a diet and ask her if she can help you eat healthier so you can both have a long healthy life together. |

Don't use the words "fat" or "cow"! Tell her (gently) that you are concerned about her weight, and want to brainstorm some ways to help her stay healthy. Suggest raw fruits and vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, rare red meat, working out together, a healthy sleep schedule, etc.... I hope this helps. Good luck to you and your wife. God bless! |

There is no easy way to tell a women that she is getting fat. maybe drop hints. Cook a healthy dinner for her. Get the both of you a membership to the gym (tell her that you want to spend the rest of your life with her and you want to be healthy). What ever you do, do not tell her she is getting fat!!!!!!!!!!! |

I doubt you could tell anybody anything about a fat cow without hurting their feelings. |

?

God forbid you may find yourself not in perfect shape someday and the shoe may be on the other foot. How about respecting and loving a woman for what she is inside instead of outside? |

Have you looked in the mirror lately? Join a gym with her and you two work out together...Tell her you love her and you are concerned about the weight she is putting on because of the health problems that come with being overweight.. Plus you loved how she looked in a certain outfit when she was more fit. Help her to make better food choices by doing so yourself..You are a team-be her coach for a while. |

No matter how you tell her its going to hurt her feelings. Let her know that you've noticed she's gained weight and you're concerned for her overall health and would like her to take more concern in that area. |

Are you yourself a healthy person? You might include her in meal preparation, exercise, etc. She needs an active lifestyle and to care what she builds her cells with.
In a nutshell, be an example. She's probably just not a self-disciplined person. That's her choice. Many people divorce over incompatability in lifestyle. Two people can grow away from each other in worldview/beliefs. |

Tell her you thought about joining a gym & you really want her to go with you so you can work out together b/c you don't want to go alone -make it about you not her-she's your wife you should love her no matter what-she's not going to be the same size forever |

Women are always sensitive about the way they look. If you want to help her out, instead of telling her that she's a fat cow, perhaps find some positive encouragement that help her to lose weight instead of look down on her.
You must be joking right? |
